TERRY W. DEESE

The Peach County Sheriff’s Office is a respected professional law enforcement agency lead by long-time Sheriff Terry Deese. Elected in 2004, Sheriff Deese took office in January 2005.

The office is staffed with 63 total employees and 31 sworn officers. Deputies patrol 151 square miles and serve nearly 27,000 residents. They also patrol I-75, one of the longest continuous six-lane freeways in the United States with two Peach County exits.

It takes organization, skill, and teamwork to successfully provide law enforcement. The Sheriff’s Office is made up of three divisions and numerous specialized teams commanded by dedicated and highly-skilled personnel with years of experience in law enforcement. These divisions are the Patrol Division, Detention Division, and Criminal Investigations Division.
